Privacy
The short version: we collect what we need to run your account, sign your files and answer checks. We never sell your data or your files.

What we collect
- Your account: your email address and the shop name you choose. Your password is stored only in scrambled form, and we can't read it.
- Your designs: the files you upload to sign, the signed copies Ghostly makes, and a record of each design: its name, its copies and the date it was registered.
- Your checks: the files you check and what Ghostly found.
- Billing: your plan and payment history. Card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Security logs: IP addresses and basic browser details, kept for a short time to protect accounts and stop abuse.
How we use it
To run your account, sign your files, recognize your designs when someone checks a file, bill paid plans, and send you emails about your account. We also watch for patterns of checks that look like attempts to remove signatures, and we may limit or close accounts that do this.
We don't sell, rent or share your files or your data, and we don't use your files to train AI.
What other people see
When anyone checks a file that carries your signature, they see your shop name, the design name, which copy it is and the date it was registered. They never see your files, your email or your account details.
Who helps us run Ghostly
We use a small number of service providers to host the site, store accounts and files, take payments and send email. They handle data only to provide those services to us.
Cookies
Ghostly uses a cookie only to keep you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising trackers. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your files and design records within 30 days, apart from billing records we have to keep by law. After that, files you signed can no longer be traced back to you.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@signedbyghostly.com. Every email we send tells you how to stop the ones that aren't about your account.
Children
Ghostly isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and email account holders about anything important.
