The rules for using Ghostly, written to be read.

The agreement
These terms are between you and Signed by Ghostly ("Ghostly", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Your account
Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account. One account can be used by one person or one business.
Your files
Your designs stay yours. You give us permission to use your files only to sign them, register them, recognize them when a file is checked, and show check results. You can only register designs you made or have the right to register. If we find a design was registered by someone who doesn't own it, we may remove the registration.
Signing and printing
Ghostly checks every signed copy against your original before you download it, and it never changes your original file. You're still responsible for checking your files before you sell them.
Checks
A check tells you what Ghostly found: whose design a file matches, which copy it is, and when the design was registered. It's evidence, not legal advice or a legal ruling.
Fair use
Don't try to remove, fake or work out how signatures are made. That includes using checks to test whether a signature survives your edits. Don't upload files you have no right to, send automated traffic, or try to break into the service. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do any of this.
Plans and billing
The free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars, and renew until you cancel. You can change or cancel any time. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and partial periods aren't refunded unless the law requires it. Monthly limits reset at the start of each billing month. If prices change, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
No guarantees
Nothing hidden in a file is impossible to remove, and Ghostly doesn't stop anyone copying a file. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending things
You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our name and content
The name Signed by Ghostly, the ghost character and the content of this site belong to us. You're welcome to use the Signed by Ghostly badge on listings for designs you've signed, and to describe Ghostly accurately.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update them here and email account holders about anything important before it takes effect.
